The group will be led by Dr. Albert Allen (psychiatrist) and Ms. Amanda Deeley (certified yoga instructor); they will present a brief introduction to yoga asana (physical poses), pranayama (breathing practices) and Buddhist meditation techniques as they pertain to ADHD. Applicability includes self-management, focus, emotional regulation and impulsiveness. These practices will be explored in further detail in a later series of classes.
